Abstract: | The general principles needed to compute the effect of a stationary gravitational field on the thermoelectric phenomena in normal conductors and superconductors are formulated from a general relativistic point of view. These principles are then applied to a variety of devices which can, in principle, measure the gravitational field. Generalizations of the Thomson, Seebeck, Peltier and Josephson effects and the London moment are obtained. |
