Preparation of 2H‐5,6‐Dihydroselenines Using α‐Alkoxy Carbonylselenoacetamide

Various 2H‐5,6‐dihydroselenine derivatives were synthesized by the reaction of α‐alkoxy carbonylselenoacetamides with α,β‐unsaturated ketones in the presence of BF₃?Et₂O.
