Abstract: | Summary Micellar liquid chromatography has been adopted for separation of cytostatic antibiotics of rubomicin derivatives. The influence of the kind of organic modifier (normal and iso-alcohols) and its concentration, sodium dodecyl sulfate micelle concentration and column temperature on the chromatographic characteristics of rubomicin derivatives have been investigated. 1-pentanol and iso-propanol were shown to be the most suitable for providing optimum selectivity, good tailing factor and column efficiency with minimum reagent consumption. |
