| Abstract: | The extent of elimination of HX (X = SOCH3, SCH3) from the M? STol]+ as well as MH? HSTol]+ cations (Tol = CH3C6H4) from 2-sulfinyl substituted cyclopentane thiocarbonic acid S-aryl esters under electron impact and chemical ionization is strongly influenced by the stereochemical relationship of the vicinal substituents. |
