On Zhuang-zi's Conceptual Framework of NATURE and Its Value

The text of Zhuangzi studies comprehensively the nature including its creating process,spatial structure,internal characteristic and value,thus shaping correspondently an organic system of natural conceptions.As the basic characteristic of universe,NATURE in Zhuangzi embodies three correlative special aspects,self-sufficiency(zixing),self-dependence(duhua) and freedom.The value of nature originates from self-sufficiency,coming into being through self-dependence and pursuing freedom.This profound conceptual framework of nature is not only the reflection to the nature itself,but also the foundation of reflection to the nature of society and ego.Moreover,integrity and intrinsic value in nature provide useful resources for modern environmen-tal philosophy.
