Joint Acquisition of Multi-satellite Signals in Cold Start Environment

Abstract:Aiming at the problem of the lack of joint acquisition algorithms for multi-satellite signals under cold start dynamic environments, a composite pseudo-code, partially matched filtering combined with fast Fourier transform (PMF-FFT) and spectrum correction acquisition method is proposed. This method first generates a composite pseudo code by adding the pseudo codes of different satellite signals to obtain the ability to capture different satellite signals at the same time, and then performs PMF-FFT operations on the composite pseudo code and the received signal to realize multi-satellites. The signal is captured, and finally the peak value obtained after FFT is subjected to spectrum correction to further improve the processing gain of the signal. The simulation results show that the detection probability after spectrum correction is about 3 dB higher than the detection probability without spectrum correction, and it is about 1 dB higher than the detection probability after windowing, and the joint acquisition can reduce the number of satellites as a whole.
