The difference between ordinary and terry towel looms essentially lies in the loop - pile mechanism. As those towel looms manufactured here domestically are all shuttle ones, their automation level is rather low. They produce only simple products with low productivity, consume more resources, influence the products entering the international market, and delay the development of our terry weaving technology . Having analysed some domestic and overseas loop - pile machanisms , and then introduced the mechatronics technology, the authors tried to make a breakthrough by putting forward a new design for the loop - pile mechanism.
