| Abstract: | A novel securinega alkaloid, suffruticosine (1), was isolated from the leaves and barks of Securinegasuffruticosa. The structure of 1, characterized by a fused complex octacyclic system, was elucidated by combined spectroscopic techniques, especially 2D NMR and CD spectral analyses. |
