| Abstract: | The reaction16O(n, α)13C was studied with 13.9 MeV neutrons using two different counter telescopes. Absolute differential cross sections were measured for the transitions to the ground state and to the 3.08 and 3.68+3.85 MeV levels of13C. The results are interpreted in terms of a direct reaction mechanism. |
