Phase Transformations in Formation of Layered Perovskites from Coprecipitated Components

We have determined the characteristic features of formation of layered perovskite-like compounds of the type A _n B _n O_3n+2 (n = 5, 6) from systems of coprecipitated hydroxides or hydroxocarbonates. We have established that the process of formation of the crystalline five-layer or six-layer perovskite-like structure of compounds of the A _n B _n O_3n+2 type occurs only according to a two-step mechanism.
