Coordination compounds of [Hg{PPh2[M(CO)5]}2], (M = Cr, Mo, W)

Coordination of various neutral N and O ligands causes drastic changes in ¹J(³¹P-¹⁹⁹Hg) (increase up to the threefold) and δ(³¹P) (shifts up to 30 ppm to low frequencies), which are due to the presence of the M(CO)₅ groups. The complexes with DMSO, phen and bipy were isolated in the solid state. No coordination of Hg{PCy₂Cr(CO)₅]}₂] with the above ligands is observed.
