| Abstract: | A class of modules V q(a, b) is constructed over the q analogue of the Virasoro algebra. If q is not a root of unit, these modules, together with a class of 1 dimensional modules, turn out to be the only possible irreducible Harish Chandra modules with weight multiplicity one. |
