The inverse Radon transform and the fundamental solution of the hyperbolic Dirac equation

Abstract:In this paper the fundamental solution of the Dirac equation in an m-dimensional hyperbolic space is constructed. The Radon transform, allowing a reduction from the original problem in m dimensions to a two-dimensional problem, is essential to this construction. In case of an odd dimension mge3 the hyperbolic fundamental solution is found as a modulated version of the Eulidean one.Research assistant supported by the Fund for Scientific Research-Flanders (F.W.O.Vlaanderen)
