Synthesis and Crystal Structure of Diethyl (4,6-diamino-1,3,5-triazine-2-yl) phosphonate

The crystal of the title compound diethyl (4,6-diamino-1,3,5-triazine-2-yl) phosphonate, (C14H28N10O6P2, Mr=494.40), has been prepared and determined by X-ray single crystal diffraction. The crystal belongs to the triclinic system, space group P with parameters: a=8.398(1) , b=10.206(1), c=14.538(2), α=75.221(3), β=85.965(3), γ=81.746(3)°, V=1191.6(3)3, S=1.028, Z=2, Dc=1.378Mg/m3, μ=0.233mm-1, F(000)=520, λ(MoKα)=0.71073, T=293(2)K, final R=0.071 and wR=0.1953 for 4177 independent reflections with I≥2σ(I). In the title compound, each molecule is linked to five neighbour molecules by hydrogen bonds forming layers perpendicular to the a axis and molecules in each layer are linked by a two-dimensional network of hydrogen bonds in the bc plane.
