| Abstract: | This paper analyzes the disadvantage of pure fluids in throttling refrigeration cycles used in high technique. The PR equation of state is used to calculate the performance of cycles, the effect of various composition is also analyzed. The results show that the mixtures of nitrogen and alkanes has high capacity of refrigeration at the same input pressure, or lower input pressure at the same capacity of refrigeration compared with pure nitrogen,and the temperature in evaporator is almost constant and nearly equal to the liquid nitrogen boilingpoint. |
