Abstract: | Adsorption of uranium(VI) and zirconium(IV) from aqueous nitric acid solution on silica gel has been investigated under dynamic conditions. The influence of temperature, nitric acid concentration (pH), and solution flow rates was studied. If the nitric acid concentration in the solution is higher than 0.05 mol/l, then it is possible to achieve separation of uranium(VI) and zirconium(IV) by passing the solution through a column filled with silicagel. |
