| Abstract: | Two new holostan-type triterpene glycosides, 17-hydroxy fuscocineroside B (1) and 25-hydroxy fuscocineroside B (2), together with a known triterpene glycoside, fuscocineroside B (3) were isolated from the sea cucumber Bohadschia marmorata JAEGER. The structures of the new triterpene glycosides were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic analyses and chemical reactions. Compounds 1 and 3 showed considerable antifungal activities against six strains. |
