8毫米相对论orotron的实验研究

摘    要:文章简述了强相对论毫米波器件的研究动态和相对论orotron(奥罗管)的基本原理,并给出了8毫米相对论orotron的初步实验结果。理论计算与冷测、热测得到的工作波长符合良好,输出功率与脉冲磁场和脉冲电压的关系与预期的一致,所得到的E131模的输出功率为10千瓦量级。同时也讨论了进一步提高功率的努力方向。

Abstract:In this paper, the operation of a relativistic orotron is briefly described. Some preliminary experimental results of a 8 -mm relativistic orotron is reported. Cold and hot measurements of operating wavelength for this device are in good agreement with theoretical calculations. The measured power of E131 mode is of the order of 10kW. The relations between output power and guiding magnetic field or pulse voltage are consistent with the expected ones. The improvemen of output power is discussed as well.
