Abstract: | A digital system for evaluating the acoustic properties of enclosures is described. By using an impulsive sound source, the system can display the build up or decay processes of a room from the results of a single experiment, by an approach based on the integrated impulse method. The system can also display the slope of the decay curve based on the first 10 dB of the decay process. By introducing such a system, one can avoid the need for digital computers for this purpose. |
