Abstract: | OADM technology is one of the key technologies in optical transport network. In this paper it is presented a novel OADM structure based on fiber gratings which has three advantages: the structure induces little in band cross talk, it can reject out band ASE noise, it can compensate the fiber chromatic dispersion employing chirped fiber gratings. The experimental result shows that the in band coherent cross talk of the dropped channel and the added channel are less than -50 dB and -35 dB; the rejection of out band ASE noise is -25 dB. |
