| Abstract: | When the intensity of the driving pulse is much higher than the saturation intensity of the media involved, the double peak splitting in frequency domain emerges in the generated high order harmonic spectra. The possible origins of this splitting are carefully investigated. The ionization of the gas media and the propagation effect of harmonic field are the main reason for the double peak splitting observed. |
