| Abstract: | It is reported that high content of sulfur in sulfur ores and slags was determined by IR-absorp-tion spectrometric method using a IR C/S analyzer. An approximation calibration method, outside of the linearity range is proposed and the determination can be done with the analyzer without changing the parameters set originally. A RSD of smaller than 2.5% is obtained for the determination of sulfur content between 10%-50%. |
