| Abstract: | Bakers’ yeast efficiently catalyzes the unsymmetrical Hantzsch reaction through a four-component coupling of aldehydes, β-ketoesters, dimedone and ammonium acetate to form polyhydroquinoline derivatives in good to excellent yields. |
