Abstract: | A method for processing spectral emissivity data of carbon monoxide and dioxide obtained by pyrometry methods is suggested to estimate the kinetic temperature of a gas volume. The radiative temperatures obtained with allowance for the spectral dependence of the emissivity of a mixture of the above-mentioned gases calculated by the direct line-by-line method are taken as the input data. The procedure is based on detecting spectral intervals with minimum and maximum temperature dependences of the emissivity, so that the relative difference between the corresponding radiative temperatures is unambiguously related to the kinetic temperature. |
