The effect of the structure of substituted phenylphosphonic difluorides on their 19F and 31P NMR spectral parameters

The ¹⁹F and ³¹P NMR spectral parameters of a series of meta and para substituted phenylphosphonic difluorides were found to be linearly related to the substituent parameters: the phosphorus chemical shifts correlated with Hammett's σ constant, the fluorine chemical shifts with Taft's σ_R parameter and the phosphorus–fluorine coupling constants with σ⁺.
