| Abstract: | Two half amides of itaconic acid, ( 1 ) and ( 2 ), have been synthesized and identified by proton magnetic resonance spectroscopy as a preliminary to an interpretation of the mechanism of action of succinate thiokinase on guanosine triphosphate substrates. |
