摘    要:本文根据一维势阱和应变效应以及能带填充效应的简单理论,提供了一种既简单又较准确的计算压缩变量子阱激光器峰值增益波长方法。

Abstract:By means of the effects of one dimension finite well, strain and band-filling, a simple and accurate method to calculate the wavelength of gain peak in compressively strained quantum well lasers is provided. Two key factors which determine the gain peak energy are presented.The influence of Fermi-Dirac distribution function on the wavelength of gain peak is also discussed. Taking commonly-used InGaAs/InGaAsP QW lasers for example, by the use of Lorentzian line shape function, the wavelength of gain peak is calculated under different injection carrier densities.
