| Abstract: | Organocatalytic and stereoselective Mannich coupling of hindered and chiral cyclohexylcarboxaldehyde is described for a synthetic approach to the pyrrolidine core of lyconadin A. The strategy led concisely and stereoselectively to complex azaheterocyclic system containing up to five stereocenters. |
