NMR studies of verdazyls with aliphatic substituents

Using PMR the isotropic hyperfine H coupling constants of three series of substituted verdazyls have been measured and assigned. The experimental data are compared with series of other radical groups and with theoretical concepts published recently.^2,3 The position of an atom relative to the radical centre is denoted in the usual way:
