| Abstract: | The saponin from the berries of Phytolacca americana yielded one known and two new aglycones. One of the new aglycones was identified as desmethylphytolaccagenin 2, and the other as 3β, 23-dihydroxyolean-12-ene-28, 30-dioic acid-30-methyl ester 3. |
