| Abstract: | The NMR spectra of a series of methyl and phenyl derivatives of dithiocarbazic acid have been examined. The value of the chemical shift of the S-Me group is found to be 2·3–2·6 ppm, while for N2-Me and N3-Meδ is in the range 3·4–3·6 ppm, and 2·4–2·7 ppm, respectively.Present data suggest that the rotation about the SCN and SCS bonds is sterically hindered. |
