摘    要:1 INTRODUCTION The interest in the complexes of transition metals with ligands ketoxime1, 2] as potential models for metal binding sites in ferroverdin3, 4] has prompted the investigation on the structures and the overall coordination geometry of the metal centers in these complexes. Synthesis and Structure of Bis(indene-1,2,3-trione 2-oximato)bis(aqua)Mn(Ⅱ): Mn(C9H4NO3)2(H2O)2
Abstract:The title complex, bis(indene-1,2,3-trione 2-oximato)bis(aqua)Mn(Ⅱ), crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group P21/c with a = 5.201(1), b = 16.547(3), c = 9.914(2) A, β =100.30(3)°, V = 839.4(3) A3, Dc = 1.738 g/cm3, F(000) = 446, C18H12N2O8Mn, Mr = 439.24,μ(MoKα) = 0.842 mm-1, Z = 2, the final R = 0.0228 and wR = 0.0782 for 1762 observed reflections (Ⅰ≥ 2σ(Ⅰ)). The geometry around Mn(Ⅱ) is adistorted octahedral configuration with the basal plane consisting of two oximo-oxygen and two carbonyl-oxygen atoms from ligand indene-l,2,3-trione 2-oximato, while the axial coordination sites are occupied by two wateroxygen atoms. A plane network is formed by the intermolecular hydrogen bonds. The title complex is the first example of metal complex containing ligand indene- 1,2,3-trione 2-oxime.
