| Abstract: | Magnetic γ-Fe2O3/SiO2 nanocomposites are synthesized by impregnating mesoporous silica with a hexane solution of γ-iron oxide nanoparticles. Materials with various structural and magnetic properties can be obtained using a subsequent thermal treatment of the synthesized samples (annealing for three hours in an air flow). |
