| Abstract: | An experimental investigation of the discrete component in the noise spectrum of an axisymmetrie off-design jet emerging from a sonic or supersonic nozzle into a submerged space is conducted. The influence of the diameter of the reflector, placed at the nozzle edge, on the level, frequency, and phase diagram of the discrete component is examined.
