Styrene‐butadiene copolymers with different butadiene microstructure: Mechanical,swelling, and orientational properties

Results of equilibrium stress‐strain and swelling experiments are reported for styrene‐butadiene copolymers of varying butadiene microstructure. The orientation of polymer chains was investigated under uniaxial elongation by birefringence and infrared dichroism spectroscopies which probe orientation on a segmental scale. © 2000 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
