平和县马堂张氏的渊源史迹与台湾之关系的历史考证

Historical Textual Research on the Relationship Between the Origins Zhang Family in Pinghe Matang, Fujian and Taiwan

Surname culture is the deep root of Chinese people and many sumames can be traced back to the Yellow Emperor and the Yan Emperor, because of which Chinese usually call themselves as the descendants of Yan and Yellow Emperor. Seeking one＇s root is a kind of recognition of national culture. The genealogy docking between Zhangzhou and Taiwan has greatly certified the cross-straits inherent connections. This paper textually explored the historical origins of Zhang family in Pinghe Matang, Zhangzhou, Fujian, the historical facts of its inheritance across the mainland and Taiwan, the root seeking activities in Taiwan as well as the main content of Zhang＇s Family Tree.
