| 摘 要： | "维多利亚妇女"被尊为"家的天使"、"花园的皇后",表面看来她们整日闲居在家,如贵夫人一般打发时光,享有很高的社会地位;可实际上她们整日禁锢于家庭领域,毫无自由可言,精神上遭受巨大的压抑。这种长期的精神折磨导致维多利亚时期大量疯女人、女精神病人的出现。

| Abstract: | Victorian women were regarded as the angel of her home and the queen of the garden because they stayed at home all the year around and kill their time like noblewomen.It is believed that they ranked among the upper class.In fact,they were just limited in the field of home without any freedom. As a result,many of them were forced to become madwomen in Victorian age. |
