| Abstract: | A variational method of calculating two-dimensional supersonic turbulent separated flows, based on the Prigogine principle
(minimum entropy production), the relations of irreversible-process thermodynamics, and the integral energy equation of a
viscous gas, is suggested. An application of this method is illustrated by an example of the calculations of the parameters
of separated flows with a fixed separation point. The outer flow in the inviscid region is calculated by known methods.
