| Abstract: | The effect of oleic and abietic acids on the properties of the surface of alkali lignins and the capability of lignins to stabilize water-oil emulsions was examined with kraft spruce and birch lignins as examples. The kinetics of the breakdown of oleic acid-water and abietic acid-water emulsions stabilized by kraft lignins was studied. |
