| Abstract: | The reactions of stabilized sulfonium ylides with arylmethylenecyanothioacetamides proceed stereoselectively to yield 2-amino-4,5-dihydrothiophenes and cyclopropane-thiocarboxamides. The structures of the latter compounds were confirmed by X-ray diffraction analysis. |
