| Abstract: | Stationary and oscillatory localized patterns (oscillons) are found in the Belousov-Zhabotinsky reaction dispersed in Aerosol OT water-in-oil microemulsion. The experimental findings are analyzed in terms of subcritical Hopf instability, subcritical Turing instability, and their combination. |
