Convergence of Galerkin approximations for the Kuramoto‐Tsuzuki equation

Standard Galerkin approximations, using smooth splines to solutions of the Kuramoto‐Tsuzuki equation are analyzed. The existence, uniqueness, and convergence of the fully discrete Crank‐Nicolson scheme are discussed.
