光子晶体光纤的耦合分析

摘    要:利用等效折射率模型对光子晶体光纤与普通单模光纤的耦合情况进行了分析,并用有限元分析模型对等效折射率法得到的模场半径随着跨距的增大而增大的模场特性进行了验证,得到了当光子晶体光纤的填充比固定时,随着跨距的增大,耦合损耗会随之减小到最小值,然后又再度增大这一结论.并通过合理地选择光子晶体光纤的填充比以及跨距来提高耦合效率.

Abstract:The coupling between photonic crystal fiber (PCF) and single mode fiber (SMF) is analyzed by using effective-index model(EIM). The character gotten from EIM that the modular semi-diameter increases with the increase of the pitch is proved by using the finite-element mathematical model. It is concluded that with a settled ratio, the coupling loss decreases to the lowest value with the increase of the pitch.And then the coupling loss increases with the increase of the pitch. The results indicate that the coupling efficiency can be improved by selecting proper structure parameters of PCF.
