| Abstract: | New Schiff base bis- and tris-benzo crown ether ligands containing recognition sites for alkali and transition metal guest cations have been prepared. Preliminary coordination studies of these ligands with sodium and copper(I) guest cations have led to the successful isolation of mono- and heteropolymetallic complexes. |
