Abstract:Results of phosphorescent analysis of proteins incorporated into an erythrocyte membrane in the native state and after depleting it of peripheral proteins of both the spectrin–actin network (bands 1, 2, and 5) and bands 2.1-2.3, 4.1, 4.2, and 6 are presented. We also investigated the ability of peripheral proteins extracted from membranes to produce room-temperature tryptophan phosphorescence in solution. V. M. Mazhul’ (Deceased).
