Retention of lipids in silver ion high-performance liquid chromatography: Facts and assumptions

Abstract:The factors affecting the retention of lipids in silver ion HPLC are presented and discussed here, according to the present understanding of the processes that take place in this chromatographic system. The discussion is focused mainly on fatty acids and triacylglycerols.
