Computer simulation of geminate recombination in non-crystalline polymer solids

Abstract:A computer simulation method is applied to model geminate charge recombination in non-crystalline polymer solids that exhibit charge transport anisotropy due to different intra- and interchain hopping rates. We investigate how the electron escape probability is affected by both the degree of charge transport anisotropy and morphology of polymer systems.
