| Abstract: | The injection-locking of an inhomogeneously pumped two-section semiconductor laser enhances continuous wave (CW) operation. The injected signal can be used to change the mode of operation of the laser from pulsation to CW. In the pulsation regime, it causes an increase of the pulsation frequency. In the CW operation regime, the injected signal causes a reduction in the modulation characteristics peak. |
