| Abstract: | Five modular photoinduced electron-transfer (PET) sensors bearing two phenylboronic acid receptors with different fluorophores have been prepared. The sensors’ interaction with saccharides was assessed via fluorescence spectroscopy. It was shown that monosaccharide selectivity is influenced by the choice of fluorescent moiety. |
