| Abstract: | We prove that for any \({A,B\in\mathbb{R}^{n\times n}}\) such that each matrix S satisfying min(A, B) ≤ S ≤ max(A, B) is nonsingular, all four matrices A ?1 B, AB ?1, B ?1 A and BA ?1 are P-matrices. A practical method for generating P-matrices is drawn from this result. |
